Switching tools shouldn’t mean losing your history: import 16+ external agent histories into DSH, then export, sync, and bundle them back out.

What problem it solves

Moving to DSH from Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Reasonix, opencode, Kimi and more usually means abandoning months of conversation history. This plugin imports those external sessions — tool calls, reasoning, titles, models, and timestamps included — as full-fidelity, resumable DSH sessions. Source files are always read-only, never rewritten, and the DSH engine is never touched.

The reverse direction is covered too: export_claude / export_codex / export_kimi serialize DSH sessions back into loadable formats, sync_to_claude appends new turns without ever silently overwriting, and export_bundle / restore_bundle produce SHA-256 fingerprint-verified portable bundles for cross-machine restore.

Quick start

Install, then call any import_* tool in a DSH session:

Refresh the session list, open the imported session, and keep chatting from where the source left off. scan_discover() previews read-only, the sidebar “Import sessions” panel browses by workspace with multi-select import, and /import-all batch-imports everything. An optional “Sync” tab offers bidirectional incremental sync (off by default). Requires Node.js ≥ 22.13 and targets dsh 0.1.x.
